We welcome you to the Prince William Dance Academy Web site and our growing family of students. We recognize that you have many choices for your child’s extracurricular activities.
Choosing dance will help teach your child dance and music appreciation, self discipline, and poise, and enhance self esteem through self-expression and performance. We know from experience that dance and movement education also helps build character, confidence, and physical coordination, attributes that shape and define us well beyond the childhood years.

This past year, the Prince William Dance Academy moved into its new home, a turn-of-the-century church building with original, hardwood floors, beautiful cathedral windows that flood the rooms with natural light, and a feeling of nostalgia and country charm. The town of Nokesville, established in 1865, prospered through the years as a rural village, and boasted at one time a Hebron Seminary, two dozen homes, general store, public school, bank, several churches, and a train depot. The Prince William Dance Academy now occupies the former St. Anne’s Chapel (Espicopal Church). The original church was consumed by fire and was rebuilt as an exact replica of the original building. In the 1940’s, the Methodist church purchased the building, and in the 1990’s, the chuch served as the Faith Baptist Church. The Prince William Dance Academy purchased the church in 2006, and is proud to call the wonderful, old building, with its gothic-style windows, belfry, and nostalgic charm, “our new” home.
