STUDIO POLICIES September 2020-June 2021
ENROLLMENT FEES: $35 per student; $55 for families (2 or more enrolled.) Due upon enrollment; both new and returning students; non-refundable
TUITION: Tuition is paid in 10 equal payments, due by the 5th of each month, September-June. June 2021 is a full tuition months.
Monthly: September 2020-June 2021
Trimester: 3 equal payments;
Due 9/8/20 12/15/20; 3/5/21
A pro-rated refund given if withdrawal occurs during the first month. No refunds after the first month of trimester.
Annual: 5% discount, paid in full at time of registration and enrollment.
If student withdraws, a pro-rated refund will be given until December 20, 2020. No refunds after December 20,2020.
Automatic Debit: Easy! Convenient! Avoid late fees! Your credit/debit card will be secure and kept on file. Tuition and studio fees will be automatically debited each month. Please speak to Director about setting up your automatic debit.
PAYPAL: Pay online through your Parent Portal on our website, www.princewilliamdance.com; Click on Parent Portal button, and create your personal account, or click on Register Here button
LATE FEE: $20; Tuition is due by the 5th of the month or late fee charged to account.
PAYMENT: Cash, checks, Visa/Mastercard, PayPal
accepted for tuition, dancewewar, costumes, and other fees.
RETURNED CHECK FEE: $35 for checks returned for non-sufficient fund (NSF)
REFUNDS: Enrollment fees and tuition are non refundable. Refunds will not be given for missed classes, holidays, or weather related closings. Absences due to extenuating circumstances will be evaluated on a case by case basis.
WITHDRAWAL: Parents are responsible for tuition until PWDA receives a two week notification of withdrawal. There is no refund on monthly tuition.
Any payments made on recital fees, costumes, competition/event fees, or missed classes are forfeited.
COSTUME FEES: Due November 30, 2020.
Costume fees are per child, per class enrolled. For families or children in multiple classes, we offer an installment plan for costume fees.
Installment Plan: 1/3 costume payment due: October 1, November 1, and December 1, 2020.
Costume fees for Classes/Levels:
1. Twinkle Star babies/Baby Ballerina, Creative Movement,Pre-Ballet,Half Pint Hip Hop,Beg Jazz & Tap $55
2. Level 1,Combination classes,Hip Hop Kidz,Acro, Primary Ballet 1 & 2, Hip Hop Flip Flop $65
3. Level 2 &3 classes; Ballet, Jazz,Tap,Lyrical,Hip Hop Teens $75
4. Level 4 classes $85
Dance shoes, accessories or props will be additional and responsibility of student
Once your costume has been ordered, it cannot be returned or cancelled. Costume companies make costumes to order, but, they are not custom fit. Occasionally, costumes may require simple or minor alterations to better fit your child. If you request a costume exchange, there is a $10 postage and costume re-stock fee.
No costume will be ordered for your child until a costume payment is received.
RECITAL FEE: Due March 15, 2021
$100 per student; $150 Family (2 or more enrolled)
Students participating in the recital are required to pay the recital fee.
Students will receive: a PWDA recital T-shirt, and one complimentary ticket to the recital.
What is a recital fee? It helps offset our venue rental & service fees required by Prince William County school system, which includes: required staffing of supervisors, custodians,student tech, use of stage lights & sound system, dressing rooms, and the programs and scenery provided by PWDA.
NEWSLETTER: PWDA will send out studio newsletters approximately every 2-3 weeks; Please look for them in your email.
